Thailand Privilege Card launches Flexible Plus Program


Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. launches FlexiblePlus Program, which targets wealthy foreign investors with high buying power. It is designed to stimulate cash flow and assist in the recovery of the Thai economy, which was negatively affected by Covid-19.

Yuthasak Supasorn (TAT Governor, Chairman of Board of Director), Thailand Privilege Card announced that, as per the cabinet resolution of October 19, 2021, the Flexible Plus Investment Principle has been approved. The program provides Thailand Privilege card holders with privileges that allow them to work within certain conditions. This is a way to encourage foreign investors in Thailand to invest.

Royal Thai Government Gazette announced the Ministry of Interior’s Flexible Plus Program privileges. It designates foreign Thailand Privilege Card holder to be eligible for stay in Kingdom and to be granted a Work Permit under the Flexible Plus Programme. This so-called investment plan was established to promote investment from abroad and to reverse the economic downturn in Thailand caused by Covid-19.

Foreign investors eligible for Flexible Plus Program. This includes Thailand Privilege Card members who have a membership package that lasts 10 years or longer. Membership must have a minimum of 5 years non-immigrant permit valid. It is also limited to holders with a one millionbaht membership fee or more. Elite Ultimate Privilege and Elite Superiority Extension are the card categories that can be granted this privilege. The Elite Privilege Access card must have at least one Million US Dollar to be invested within the 1 year period following registration or approval.

China, Japan and other target countries include the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Russia (France), USA, Singapore, and China.

Flexible Plus Program was introduced by TAT and other foreign government agencies. It also includes online marketing programs and 27 agencies that cover markets in Asian, USA and Europe. Launch in the Euro zone markets will take place at the end of the year.

Yuthasak also stated that the FlexiblePlus Program, which will begin in 2022 is intended to attract foreign investors and increase flows to Thailand’s economic front. Foreign investors and their families can also benefit from indirect benefits by spending on Thailand, such as accommodation, Food and Beverage and expensive products and/or services.

Thailand is a desirable destination for investors because of its attractive economic growth and high investment climate. It also has a great lifestyle and charmed culture. The Flexible Plus Program offers investment and motivational privileges to members of the Thailand Privilege Card. This program encourages foreign investment to Thailand by offering premium lifestyle privileges.

President, Thailand Privilege Card Co. Ltd. Chandhaluk Heesawat stated that Thailand Privilege Card currently has more than 16,000 members. This number is expected to continue growing. Flexible Plus program members enjoy the following privileges: the exchange of PE Visas to Non-B Visas; the extension of Work Permit valid up to 5 years; and the exchange to Non-Immigrant Visa for legal spouses (maximum 3 kids) valid for 5 year with entitlement for main card privileges.

Participating in Thailand Privilege Card are required to submit investment documents and report on themselves to Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd. Every year, starting at the beginning of investment, for five years.
