After spending summer holidays in hotels or shared accommodation, holidaymakers can bring bed bugs home to infest their homes. Many people share their bedrooms with bed bugs, so it is common for them to infest these rooms. The summer heat makes bugs more likely to breed.

Multiple bites in a row, or in a group, if the bugs bite repeatedly.

Where are bed bugs found?
These bugs can be difficult to spot because they hide in cracks and crevices in furniture and bed frames, plaster walls and ceilings, behind wallpaper and inside TVs, electric sockets and air vents.
How does a pest controller eliminate bed bugs?
Bed bugs are one the most difficult pests to eradicate because they can survive very low temperatures and can be fumigated with CO2. We offer two methods of treating bed bugs: heat and insecticide. However, both must be properly prepared in order for them to work.
Insecticide treatment
Insecticide spray is applied to walls, ceilings and carpets. They will crawl on the treated surfaces, but they won’t die instantly if they get infected. Otherwise, the treatment will not work. The entire process can take several weeks and usually requires two treatments.
Heat treatment
Heat treatment is faster. The heat is applied under pressure to steam and most bugs are killed instantly. We apply insecticide after heat treatment to kill any bugs that haven’t been reached by steam or hatched following heat treatment.
